The clothes-on room at a lifestyle party

One room stays dressed. The host names it before anyone arrives.
The short answer
A clothes-on room is for talking, coats, and a drink. Play does not spill into it. The host names that room in the invite, and again when people walk in. If you did not name it, guests will guess, and guesses wander.
Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The rooms are part of the invite.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.
Name the room, not the mood
Say "the kitchen stays dressed" or "the front room stays dressed." A vibe is not a rule. Guests can follow a room. They cannot follow a mood.
The porch, the balcony, the yard, and a hallway open to neighbors are not play rooms. Public exposure is still a crime. If a door opens onto a shared hall, that side of the door stays dressed.
This is not the same question as whether a couple plays in one room or two. Same room or separate room is about the people. Clothes-on is about the house.
Who the room is for
People with no match can sit there. People who want a break can sit there. People who are waiting on a partner can sit there. None of that is a request to start play on the couch.
Phones stay in the clothes-on room if the house rule says so, and they stay off the table as cameras. A conversation in that room is not content.
The format does not pick the room
All mutual-yes matches are revealed, whether that happens together, at check-in, or after the short rounds. The reveal can happen in the clothes-on room. What follows does not, unless the host said that room is open.
A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time. A play party reveals matches at check-in. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no. After the reveal, people move to the room the host named. If that was vague, Message host before you move. That note is private.
FAQ
Does every party need a clothes-on room?
Yes, if anyone will be talking, arriving, or taking a break. Name it. A house with no dressed room pushes play into the kitchen and the porch.
Can the reveal happen in that room?
Yes. All mutual-yes matches are revealed somewhere the host chose. Play still moves to the room the host named for it.
Is the porch a clothes-on room?
The porch is public enough that it is not a play room. Public exposure is still a crime. If people step outside, they stay dressed.
Is this the same as same room or separate room?
No. Same room or separate room is about whether the two of you stay together while you play. Clothes-on is about which part of the house stays dressed.
What if guests start to play on the couch?
The host says the room out loud and points them to the room that was named. Do not debate it in front of the house. A private no stays private. The room rule is not private.
Can people with no match stay in the clothes-on room?
Yes. That room is for talking. It is not a second chance at a match, and it is not a closed play room.
