How the night runs
Dubuque does not change the rules of the format. It does change how long people are in the car, so say which night it is. A house downtown, a place on the bluff, a floor off US-20: the rule is the same.
Key party. Before the party, each person says yes or no in private to one photo and one name. You never answer about your own partner. When the host starts the reveal, phones wait about ten seconds. The room sees one person, and only if both of you said yes.
Key partyPlay party. You still say yes or no in private. Matches open when the host checks that guest in. The room does not share one reveal.
Play partySpeed date. You meet each couple for about five minutes. As a couple you say yes or no. Either partner can answer, and either can change it until the host starts the next round. A match needs both couples to say yes.

A house downtown, a place on the bluff, a floor off US-20: the rule is the same. Keep the street out of that text.
When do guests get the address in Dubuque?
When the host sends it. A place name can come earlier, so people can judge the trip. The street waits.
Can the party be in a hotel?

Who lets people in?
Only the host. Guests show a door code or a QR pass. They cannot check themselves in.

How does a private party work in Dubuque?
The host invites you. You say yes or no in private, and a match needs both sides. The street stays hidden until the host sends it. Only the host checks you in.
