How to host an adult play party

An adult play party is a private night for the couples you invite. A children's play date and a game night are different searches. You reveal mutual matches when you are ready.
The short answer
An adult play party is one invited room. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. Each card is one person: one photo and one name. Their own partner is never a card.
Guests say yes or no in private before the door. A one-sided yes stays hidden. When you open the matches, each guest you have checked in sees every mutual match at the same moment. There is no single Play Partner for the whole room.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.
Write the rules before anyone arrives
Say the night in the first note: adult play party, who is invited, and what a no means in your house. One line is one rule. Dress, phones, and the rooms that stay closed belong in those lines. Guests agree before they answer. If you edit a line, they agree again.
Consent is the host's job before it is a speech at the door. A yes to the invite is a yes to come. It is not a yes to anyone in the room. A guest who wants out tells you. You do not check them in, and they do not owe the room an explanation.
Say the room shape in the invite. A straight room, a bi-friendly room, or an open room is the shape of the night. An open room can include singles. Partners are never cards for each other.
The order for the host
Open the host home and pick a play party before you promise a time. Send each couple one private link. There is no ticket. They confirm they are 18 or older and add a name and a photo. Hold the street until you are ready for people to drive. A place name can go out earlier.
The group chat opens when someone joins. Use it for the time and the theme. Keep the street, the floor, and the door code out of that chat. Guests can change a yes or no until answers lock. They do not message each other in private. Message host is a note only you and any co-host see.
You check people in with a door code or a QR pass. They cannot check themselves in. All mutual-yes matches are revealed when you open them, for the guests you have checked in. You start that moment. The room does not get a list of who said no.
Home, a hotel, or a different night
A house you know is the usual room. You know the porch, the neighbors, and the end time. A hotel room is the other honest room when the list is small or someone is coming from out of town. You still send the links. You still hold the room number until you mean to send it.
A key party is a different night: the room sees one Play Partner together, after you start the reveal. A speed date is short rounds, about five minutes, and a match needs both couples to say yes. Pick one format before the invite goes out. An adult play party does not become those nights because the living room is the same.
FAQ
Is an adult play party a children's party?
No. This page is a private night for adults you invite. A kids' play date, a soft-play venue, and a game night are different events.
Who do I invite?
Couples you already want in the room. One private link each. Say it is an adult play party, and say the rules, before anyone drives over.
When do guests see the matches?
When you open them, after you check that guest in. A one-sided yes stays hidden. The room does not see who said no.
Can the party be at home or in a hotel?
Yes. Home is the usual room. A hotel works when you still send the private links and you still hold the room number until you mean to send it.
When do matches show?
All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format. A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
