Hosting when the house is adults only

The party happens only in a house that is adults only that night. Anyone under 18 sleeps somewhere else. If you cannot make that true, pick another night or another room.
The short answer
Pineapple Play Date is for adults. The house you host in has to match that. Anyone under 18 is at another home, with another adult, for the whole night. They do not come back early, and they do not sleep down the hall.
Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. You send that link only after the house is actually clear.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A closed bedroom door is not a plan. An empty house is the plan.
The house that night
Decide the overnight before you invite anyone. The other house, the pickup time, and the morning return are settled first. Guests should never be the reason someone comes home early.
Put away anything that tells a story you do not want told, and close the rooms you are not using. The party stays in the rooms you named. A guest does not get a tour.
If plans slip and someone under 18 will be home, the party moves or it waits. You tell the list early, in private notes. You do not host anyway and hope the timing works.
What you tell the person watching the house
The person covering the night gets the practical facts: where everyone is, when you will be back, and how to reach you. They do not get the guest list, the kind of party, or the address of a hotel if you moved the night.
You do not need a cover story with extra detail. Friends over, or a night out, is enough. A long lie is harder to keep than a short ordinary sentence.
Do not ask a guest to help with school-morning logistics, pickups, or anything that pulls the party into family life. Those are separate errands, on a separate day.
If the house cannot be adults only
Do not host there. A hotel room you booked is one honest option. Another night, when the house is empty, is the other. There is no version where you keep the volume down and hope.
Say that to anyone who asks you to host on a night that does not work. A full calendar is a complete answer. You do not have to explain the household.
A one-sided yes stays hidden, and so does this plan. The list does not need to know where anyone under 18 is. They need to know the party is in an adults-only place.
The format still needs a clear house
A key party, a play party, or a speed date all need the same empty house. All mutual-yes matches are revealed in that room, not in a house you are sharing with anyone under 18.
If you cannot offer that room, do not send the link yet. The format can wait. The house cannot be a maybe.
FAQ
Can we host if anyone under 18 is home?
No. They are somewhere else for the whole night, or you do not host. A closed door is not a plan.
When do we tell guests the house is clear?
You do not narrate the household. You invite them only when the night is actually adults only. If that changes, you cancel or move the party.
What do we tell the person covering bedtime somewhere else?
Where to be, when you return, and how to reach you. Not the guest list, and not the kind of party.
What if the overnight plan falls through?
The party waits or moves. Tell each couple in a private note. Do not host and hope the timing still works.
Is a hotel the other option?
Yes, if you booked the room and the list still fits it. One booked room is a hotel lifestyle party. A lobby is not a private room.
Does the format change because the house had to be empty?
No. All mutual-yes matches are revealed the same way. A key party, a play party, and a speed date still need an adults-only room.
