Hosting out-of-town guests at a lifestyle party

Out-of-town guests are still your list. They book their own room. You send the area before the street. A late flight does not hold the door open past the time you set.
The short answer
A couple flying in is not a different kind of guest. They need the same private link, the same ceiling, and the same end time. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there.
They book the hotel. You do not promise a couch unless you offered that in a direct text before they traveled, and you still want it the day they arrive. A hotel night you host yourself is a different plan.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. Distance does not add them to the list.
Their room is theirs
Tell them to book a place they can return to when the night ends. Name the area, not your street, so they can pick a hotel that is a sane drive. You do not pick the hotel for them, and you do not put your address in their reservation notes.
If you offered a spare room, say so before they buy the ticket, and say when that offer ends. Breakfast is not an all-day stay. If you did not offer a room, do not invent one when they land.
A couple you like from another city can still be a no for this date. Liking them is not the same as having a bed, a parking spot, and the energy for guests who cannot go home in ten minutes.
What you send, and when
Send the neighborhood early, so they can judge the airport and the drive. Send the street when the guest list is finished, the same way you would for someone across town. A rideshare should get a corner or a lobby you named, not a tour of the party from the back seat.
Ask them not to post the city as a public meetup, and not to add friends to the trip. The link is for the two people you invited. A third person in the rental car waits for their own link, or they do not come.
A delay happens. Your end time does not move because a flight did. Tell them the latest arrival you will still open the door for. After that, the night is underway without them.
The end time still ends
Say the end time before they travel. Out-of-town guests linger when the hotel feels far and the room feels warm. The linger is the part your neighbors hear. Walk them to the plan you already wrote: coats, car, hotel.
They do not get a later night because they spent money to be there. The money was their choice. Your door still closes.
If they miss the window, wish them a good trip and do not restart the party. A private link is not a rain check you have to honor at midnight.
The night is still one format
Tell them which night they are walking into before they pack. All mutual-yes matches are revealed for that format, with the people already on the list. Travel does not add a second round.
A one-sided yes stays hidden. They choose who they want the same way everyone else does. Being from out of town is not a claim on the room.
FAQ
Should out-of-town guests stay at our house?
Only if you offered a room before they traveled and you still want that. Otherwise they book their own place and leave when the night ends.
When do they get the address?
Send the area early so they can judge the drive. Send the street when the list is finished, the same as any other guest.
What if their flight is late?
Tell them the latest arrival you will still open the door for. After that, the night goes on without them. Do not restart it at midnight.
Can they bring a friend from home?
No. The link is for the people you invited. Anyone else needs their own link from you, or they do not come.
Should they post that they are in town?
No. Ask them not to turn your city into a public meetup. The list stays the list you wrote.
Does the format change because they traveled?
No. All mutual-yes matches are revealed for the night you already picked. Travel is not a reason to add a second format.
