How to plan the parking

Name the parking before you name the door.
The short answer
Tell guests where to leave the car in the same note that names the area. A driveway, a garage, or a lot you can actually use. Do not fill the block and hope the neighbors do not count the cars.
Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The parking plan is part of that invite. It is not a pin for the group chat.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.
Neighbors and a lifestyle party
Say the plan in plain words
Count the cars the house can hold without lining the curb. If that number is smaller than the list, say so. People can share a ride, arrive in a pair of cars, or use a garage you have already cleared. Do not invent a lot you do not control.
If the street is tight, stagger the arrivals. Give the first couple a time and the next couple a later one. A vague 'come around eight' is how six cars land together.
A hotel night uses the hotel garage or the floor you booked. Say which. The lobby is not a meeting spot for a long talk about the night. Send people up when you are ready, not to the curb.
A pin is the address
Do not drop a map pin in the group chat. That pin is the street, and the chat is one room. Send the area early, so people can judge the drive. Send the house number when the guest list is finished.
A one-sided yes stays hidden. Parking instructions do not include who is coming. You do not label a car with a name, and you do not ask guests to text the block when they arrive.
The cars are not the party. A porch open to the sidewalk is not a private room. Public exposure is still a crime. People get out, come in, and the door shuts.
The format still comes first
All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the night you named, not by where the cars sit. A parking note does not change a key party into a play party.
A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time. A play party reveals matches at check-in. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no. Put that in the invite next to the parking, so nobody drives an hour and learns the night in the driveway.
FAQ
When do guests learn where to park?
With the area, before they leave. The house number can wait until the list is finished. The plan for the cars should not.
Can I drop a pin in the group chat?
No. A pin is the street, and the group chat is one room. Send the address to each couple when you are ready, not to the whole thread.
What if the street cannot hold every car?
Say that. Share rides, use a garage you control, or stagger the arrivals. Do not fill the block and call it a plan.
Does the parking note list who is coming?
No. A one-sided yes stays hidden. A private no stays private. Cars are not name tags.
Does parking change the format?
No. All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the night you named. A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time. A play party reveals matches at check-in. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
