A hotel takeover is a block or a floor. It is bigger than one booked room. The hotel still has other guests. The front desk is not the host. Your list stays private.
The short answer
One booked room is a hotel lifestyle party. A takeover is when you hold a block or a floor for one night: a key party, a play party, or a speed date. You book the rooms. You host the list.
One private link per couple. The people in the other rooms of the hotel are not on the list unless you invited them. A name appears only when both people said yes.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. Only the host checks people in. They show a door code or a QR pass. They cannot check themselves in. Checking in does not open the names. When you are ready to host, start from the host home. The hosting help walks through the list and the door.
Say what you actually hold. A block of rooms is not the whole hotel. A floor still has a stairwell and an elevator the rest of the building can use.
Tell the list which rooms are yours and which hours are the party. The room numbers stay hidden until you release them. Email and reminders use a public-safe name, or Your event, not the real party name. An end time matters more when other guests of the hotel are in the same building.
The front desk is not the host
The desk can hold keys and point at an elevator. It does not invite anyone, and it does not check in your guests. You do that. Only the host checks people in.
Leave the lobby unmarked. Do not give the desk your list. Guests get the room number from you, when you send it. A private no stays private. A one-sided yes stays hidden.
Pick one format and keep it. A key party is one shared reveal. You start it, phones wait about ten seconds, and the room sees one person only if both people said yes. A play party waits until you close the answers, check guests in, and then open the matches. A speed date keeps people dressed. A new party starts at five minutes a round, and a match needs both couples to say yes.
If the booking is really one suite, use the hotel lifestyle party guide. One room is not a takeover.
