Swinger party invitations

A swinger party invitation is not a blast. It is one private link to a night you already defined: a key party, a play party, or a speed date, for people you would actually let in.

Name the night before you hit send

A key party invite promises one Play Partner in Round 1: one photo, one name, a mutual yes, opened for the room at the same time. A play party invite promises private swipes and every mutual when you check that guest in, with no pairing round. A speed date invite promises tables, a clock, and a yes or no after you have met. Two couples match only when all four say yes.

Write that in plain language. Couples decide with their partner, not from a vibe. If one of them wanted a roaming play party and you are running a key party, they should find out on Tuesday, not at the door. The same is true the other way. Do not tease a bowl of keys and then run open play.

Say the room shape in the same message. Straight means each guest swipes the other side. Bi-friendly follows who is actually open to whom. Open does the same and can include singles. Partners are never cards for each other. A couple that only plays in one kind of room should be able to decline before they ever see a card.

Finish the list before the first link

Write the names down first. Couples you know. Singles only if the room is open and you want them there. Maybes stay maybes. A maybe does not get a link, because a link is hard to take back without a scene. If the list is short, host a smaller night. Do not invite a weak maybe to make the room look busy.

Vet before you send. The app does not do that job. You already know them, or a couple you trust vouches, and you have talked about what they want and what is off the table. An excited text from one partner is not a yes from the couple. Ask both, or do not send.

Plus-ones are a separate decision, made before the link, not in the group chat the day of. If someone asks to bring a friend, the answer is a new name on your list or a no. The friend does not inherit the link. You still choose every person who can reach the door.

What the message should actually say

Lead with the format, the day, and the shape of the room. Then the tone, in your voice. A useful key party note sounds like this: Saturday, our place, a key party for four couples we already know. Straight room. Private swipes, then one Play Partner when we open Round 1. Phones down for the reveal. Reply if you both want the link.

A play party note names the difference: Saturday, bi-friendly play party, five couples. No Round 1. You will see your mutuals when I check you in. The office is closed. Tell me if you are sitting out and I will not check you in. A speed date note names the clock: couples, seven-minute tables, yes or no after you meet. A match needs a yes from both partners in both couples.

Ask for a yes from the couple before you send the link, when you can. Once the link is out, they still confirm age and build a profile, but the social yes should not be a surprise to the partner who was not on the text. Keep it short enough to forward to that partner without embarrassment, and specific enough that they know which night they are agreeing to.

What never goes in the text

Do not put the street address in the invitation. Leave it in the host fields. Guests see a place name if you set one, so they know the area. The street, the map, and Open in Maps stay hidden until you release them. Release when you are ready for people to travel, not while you are still deciding the last couple.

Do not put the door code in the text. Each guest gets a door code and a QR pass inside the app. You scan it or you type it. They cannot check themselves in. A code in a message is a code that gets screenshotted.

Do not attach a guest's photo, and do not use the real party name if the text might be seen by someone outside the list. Email and reminders say Your event, or a public-safe name you set. The real name stays in the app. The invitation can say Saturday plans. The app can say what the night actually is.

After they open the link

They confirm they are 18 or older. You still confirm age at the door. They add a name and a photo. On a key party or a play party the card is one person. On a speed date the card is the couple: both names and one couple photo, and either partner can replace it. Nudge a missing photo through Message host, not by calling them out in the group.

The group chat is one room. It opens when someone joins. Use it for timing, the theme, and a little tease. Icebreakers are on by default, one prompt a day before the party starts. You can write your own, up to twenty lines, or leave the list blank. You can turn them off, close chat, mute someone, or let messages expire after 24 hours or 7 days.

Guests do not message each other in private. A private note is Message host, and only you and your co-hosts see it. If two guests want a side thread, this is the wrong product. The heat stays in the invited room. Co-hosts can use the dashboard. They cannot delete the party or remove the original host.

Put the rules where they have to agree

House rules are one line, one rule, inside the party. Guests agree before they swipe. If you edit the rules, they agree to the new version. Mention the ones that change a yes in the invitation too, so nobody feels ambushed: phones, photos of other guests, rooms that are closed, and what a no means.

A no to a person is private. The app never shows a no as a no. A no to the whole night is a sentence to you: they tell the host, and you do not check them in. Say that in the invite so sitting out does not feel like a crime. Do not ask them to explain it to the room.

If both partners needed to finish swiping on a key party and one did not, that couple is not in the reveal. Say that before the deadline, in the rules and in a host note if you see it coming. A fight in the hallway is a failed invitation, even if the link was perfect.

How to host a key party

When to send, and when to stop

A few days out is enough for people who already know you. Long enough to talk to a partner, add a photo, and swipe. Short enough that the list does not rot. Send earlier if someone travels. Do not send so early that you are still vetting, because the link is the invitation and you cannot unring it quietly.

Set the swipe deadline before the start. People can change a yes or a no until swipes lock. Partners can compare swipes before that deadline. Sharing starts on, and it takes both partners to stay on. Either person can turn it off, and then it stops for both. Do not pressure a couple in the chat to show each other their cards.

Stop inviting when the list is full. A late ask gets a no, or a seat on the next night. The group chat is not a waiting room for people you have not decided on. If you want a rehearsal first, open a test party and walk it as any guest, including either partner. Test parties do not send email, push, or reminders.

One invite, start to door

Tuesday you decide on a key party, straight room, four couples. You text each couple the shape of the night and ask if both of them want in. Three say yes the same day. The fourth takes a night to talk. You wait. You do not send their link to be nice.

Wednesday the fourth couple says yes. You send four private links. The public-safe name is Saturday plans. The place name is the neighborhood. The street stays held. Thursday one partner has no photo, so you use Message host. Friday you release the street. A guest asks to bring a friend. You say the list is closed, and you mean it.

Saturday you scan passes. One person says they are sitting out. You do not check them in, and you do not announce it. When the room is ready you start the reveal. Phones hold for about ten seconds. Each guest sees one Play Partner. The invitation did its job if nobody is surprised by the format. While the app is launching, hosting and joining are free. No card needed.

FAQ

How do swinger party invitations work here?

Each couple gets one private link. They confirm they are 18 or older and add a name and a photo. You choose the list. There is no public guest pool.

Should the invite say key party, play party, or speed date?

Yes. Name the format. A key party reveals one Play Partner. A play party has no pairing round. A speed date is timed tables and a yes or no after you meet.

Do I put my address in the text?

No. The street stays hidden until you release it. A place name can show earlier. The door code stays in the app, not in the message.

Can a guest forward the link to a friend?

They might. Your job is to keep the list honest. A plus-one is a new decision, not an inheritance. Someone who is not invited does not get checked in.

Can guests message each other about the invite?

Not in private inside the app. The group chat is one room. Message host is a note only the host and co-hosts see.

What if someone wants out after they join?

They tell you. You do not check them in. That is a complete answer. They do not owe the room a speech.
