Adult only. Private by design.
Swinger terms glossary

The lifestyle has a dialect. Learn it before you walk in, or you will agree to a night you did not mean. These are the words that change the room.
The short answer
A swinger terms glossary is a translation, not a dare. Soft is not the same as same room. On premise is not the same as full. Couples only is not a personality. If the invite uses a word you cannot define, ask before you swipe.
Adult only. Private by design. There is no public guest pool. A maybe does not inherit a link. A no is never shown as a no.
Key party, play party, speed date
A key party is the signature. One person per card. Round 1 reveals one Play Partner. Your own partner never appears in your deck. It is a reveal, not a mixer with props.
A play party opens mutuals when the host checks you in. There is no room-wide Round 1. People still talk first. Play means the house already said play is allowed, under the ceiling you wrote.
A speed date is rounds, then a private yes or no. The card is both names and one couple photo. A match needs a yes from both partners in both couples. A meet and greet is the clothes-on cousin: chemistry, conversation, and play off the table unless the invite said otherwise.
Soft swap and full swap
Soft swap and full swap are a ceiling, not a room assignment. Soft usually means clothes, hands, mouths, and stopping before intercourse. Full means intercourse is on the table if everyone in the scene wants it. The lower yes wins. A couple does not get upgraded because the other couple is braver.
Write the ceiling in the invite. Soft night. Full night. Or: we will say it out loud before anything leaves the couch. Guessing is how a kiss becomes a fight.
Same room, separate room, on premise, off premise
Same room vs separate room is where bodies are, not how far sex goes. Same room: you can see each other. Separate room: you split. You can be soft in separate rooms. You can be full in one room. Do not let one phrase smuggle the other.
On premise vs off premise is the address of play, not the ceiling. On premise: play can happen where the party is. Off premise: you leave together later, if you still want to. A house party and a club are a different split: your door, or someone else's. Street stays hidden until the host releases it.
Couples only, open room, hotwife, unicorn
Couples only means every guest arrived as a pair the host invited. An open room means the host also invited singles, on purpose, with a link. Open is not a public night and not anyone nearby. A plus-one does not get a seat because the pair was charming.
A hotwife party is a specific heat: she plays, he is part of the yes, and the room is built around that dynamic. It is not a surprise you spring on a wife who likes attention. Read the guide before you borrow the word.
A unicorn is a single, often a woman, invited to play with a couple. She is a guest, not a prize. Do not say it like you won something. Invite a person. If she wants you, she will say yes. If she does not, that is the end of the sentence.
Mutual yes, Play Partner, and a no
A mutual yes is two people wanting the same thing, in the moment, inside rules they already heard. Comparing swipes tells you who you both marked. It does not add a person, and it does not override a freeze.
Play Partner is the name for the one match a key party reveals in Round 1. It is a person, not a schedule. You can still say the word that stops the night. The app will not show your no to the room, and you do not reconstruct it in the kitchen.
Guests cannot message each other privately. Message host stays with the host and co-hosts. Only the host checks people in. Email says Your event or a public-safe name.
Pineapple, invitation, and the list
An upside down pineapple is a wink, not a contract. It can mean the lifestyle. It does not mean this house is open, this couple is playing, or you may touch anyone. If you need a yes, ask. A fruit is not consent.
An invitation is a link from the host to a person. It is not a screenshot, a group chat, or a profile on another site. How you get invited is still a host choosing you. Distance is not an invite.
The list is the whole privacy model. No browse pool. No stranger who lives nearby. If you wanted to be found by a network, that is a different product. This one is the night.
