The card is the couple
Both names are on the card, with one couple photo. Either partner can add or replace that photo. A key party card is one person. A speed date card is not.
Your own partner is not someone you swipe. You are deciding about the couple you just met.
Rounds, then yes or no
The host sets the round length, the time to change tables, and how many tables are in use. Couples meet one table at a time. A couple without a seat that round takes a break.
Yes or no comes after you meet. You can change an answer until the grace period ends. A no is never shown to them.
A match needs both couples
A mutual yes means a yes from both partners in both couples. When the rounds end, each couple sees only their mutual matches.
That is different from a key party, where Round 1 reveals one Play Partner for the room, and from a play party, where mutuals open at check-in.
What the host sets up
Invite the couples with private links. There is no public list of speed dates to join. Rehearse with a test party if you want the clock in your hands before the real night.
House rules are agreed before anyone swipes. Check-in is still a code or a QR pass at the door.

Do couples swipe before they meet?
No. On a speed date you meet in the rounds first, then say yes or no. The decision comes after the conversation.
What does the card show?
Both names and one couple photo. Either partner can update that photo. It is not two individual cards.
Who sees a no?
Nobody. A no is not shown as a no. Only a mutual yes, from both partners in both couples, becomes a match.
Can a single person join a speed date?
Speed Date is the couple format. Singles belong on an open Play Party, when the host has allowed them. The key party and the play party use individual cards.
