Pineapple Play Date

Adult only. Private by design.

When the host releases the address

A dressed couple in coats on a quiet porch at dusk, a warm light in the window.

The place name can show early. The street waits for the host.

The short answer

Guests see the location name before they see the street. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The host, or a co-host, turns on Release address to guests when they want the street to show.

Until then, the screen says Address details will be released prior to the party. After the release, guests see the street, a map, and Open in Maps. The host always sees the street.

Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.

The switch saves immediately

The control is labeled Release address to guests. The note under it says guests then see the street, the map, and Open in Maps, and until then they see the location name only. It saves immediately.

Turning it on asks Release the address? The note says guests will see the street, the map, and Open in Maps. Turning it off asks Hide the address again? The note says guests will see the place name only.

The street has to be filled in first. Without it, the app says Add a street address first. A co-host can use this dashboard switch. A co-host still cannot delete the party or remove the original host.

A settled night locks the street

Once the party is revealed, sent a no-reveal message, or closed, the address cannot be changed. The app says This party is already settled. On the dashboard the note can say Address is locked.

Releasing the street does not check anyone in, and it does not start the reveal. The check-in code is still a separate pass. Keep the street out of the group chat.

A place name in the first text is enough for the drive. Send the house number in the app, not in a thread someone will screenshot.

The street does not pick the night

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. Seeing the map does not change that night.

A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no. A one-sided yes stays hidden.
