How to leave a lifestyle party

You can leave when you want to. Tell the host, get your coat, and go. You do not owe the room a reason, and you do not announce it from the sofa.
The short answer
Leaving a lifestyle party is allowed, including early. Find the host, say you are heading out, and leave with the plan you made at home. A wave is enough. A speech is not required.
Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. Adult only. Private by design. The host checks people in. The host is also the person who should hear that you are leaving.
The planned goodbye has its own page. This one is the exit, especially when the night is not over for everyone else.
Decide the exit before you arrive
On the way over, say who you leave with and what a tired night looks like. Both of you, or the ride you already named. A check-in word can mean step outside. It can also mean the car.
If one of you wants to go and the other wants to stay, the plan you made at home wins unless you both change it out loud. Do not renegotiate that in a hallway whisper while other people are waiting on you.
All mutual-yes matches are revealed on the night you were told. Leaving does not require you to finish a round, a conversation, or a maybe. A match is not a reason you have to stay.
Tell the host, not the room
A quiet sentence is the whole announcement: we are heading out, thank you. You do not explain a headache, a fight, or a no. The host can tell anyone who needs to know that you left. The sofa does not.
If you are not checked in yet, you can still turn around. Tell the host you are not coming in. You are not in the round, and you are not in the room. A one-sided yes stays hidden either way.
Do not leave a door code, a QR pass, or your link with someone who is staying. Those were for you. A friend who was not invited does not get in because you are tired.
Coat, phone, and the ride
If the house rule was phones in the kitchen, pick yours up before you say goodbye. Check that you have keys, a coat, and the ride. A rideshare is fine. Do not put the street in the note field if the driver app will show it to anyone else on your account.
The pin was for getting there. It is not for a goodbye text, a photo, or a story. Send the car to a corner the host already said was fine if the street itself should stay quiet. Then close the map.
Say the end time you were given even if you leave sooner. People who are still inside should not have to guess whether you are in the bathroom or gone.
After you are in the car
The first five minutes can be quiet. You do not have to review the night before you leave the block. If one of you is upset, say you want to talk at home, and mean it.
A thank-you to the host can wait until the next day. It does not need names. It does not need the address. If you do not want another invite, you can say that too, in one line.
You can come back another night. Leaving early does not ban you. It also does not obligate you. The next link is still a choice.
FAQ
Can we leave a lifestyle party early?
Yes. Tell the host, take your things, and go. You do not owe the room a reason. A wave is enough.
What if only one of us wants to leave?
Use the plan you made on the way over. Change it only if you both say so. Do not settle it in front of the room.
Do we have to finish the round?
No. All mutual-yes matches are revealed for the people who are still in the night. Leaving is allowed before that, and after it.
Should we text the group that we left?
No. The host heard it. The street stays off the goodbye text. Adult only. Private by design.
Does leaving early mean we cannot be invited again?
No. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. A next link is still their choice and yours. You can also say you are done.
