Pineapple Play Date

Adult only. Private by design.

What a door code is for

A dressed couple at a front door at night, the host in the doorway and a warm lamp.

The code gets you to the host. It does not check you in.

The short answer

Each guest on the list has a check-in code and a QR pass. On your phone it says Your check-in code, and Show this QR to the host. The host, or a co-host, scans it or types it. You cannot check yourself in.

Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The code belongs to one person on that list. Showing it does not add a friend who was never invited.

Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.

Check-in words at a lifestyle party

How a host keeps a party private

What discreet means on a party invite

It is not your check-in word

A check-in word is a private signal between you and your partner. It means pause, or it means stop. The check-in code is a pass for the door. They are not the same tool, and they do not replace each other.

The return code on your profile is for switching phones. It is not the check-in code, and it does not check you in. You still agree a word at home if you want one. You still show the pass at the door.

If you are not coming, tell the host in Message host. They do not check you in, and they do not make you explain it to the room. A one-sided yes stays hidden.

Do not forward the code

The code belongs to one guest. A scan checks that guest in. It does not add someone else to the list. Do not text it to a friend, and do not leave it in the group chat.

The street is separate. The host releases the address in the app. The check-in code shows on your phone when check-in is open. Keep both out of the first text. A place name can come earlier, so people can judge the drive.

Do not photograph the pass and drop it in a thread. The pass is how the door knows you are the person on the list.

The code does not pick the night

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. Showing a pass does not change that night into a different one.

On a key party and a play party, check-in opens on party day, after answers lock. A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
