Pineapple Play Date

Adult only. Private by design.

Who can find this party

A dressed couple in coats on a balcony at dusk, a soft city skyline.

Private is invite and link only. Public adds a directory card with the city and the time, not the street.

The short answer

Who can find this party is Private or Public. Private is the default. It stays off the directory. People join with an invite or a link. The line under the buttons says invite and link only, not listed. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there.

Public lists the party in the directory. The card shows the city, the state, and the start time. The street and the venue never go on that card. Approval puts someone on the guest list and sends their party link. It does not release the street.

Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.

What a public card shows

A public party needs a city and a state before it can be saved. The city has to be at least two characters. Spots are optional: a whole number from 1 to 500, or blank. Leave spots blank if you are not capping the room. A full card can say the party is full, and a new application then stops.

The card title is the party name. If that name is blank, it uses the public-safe name. If both are blank, the title is Party. The card also shows the format, the room line for that night, the host name, and a short description. A key party or play party says Couples, or Couples and singles. A speed date uses its own room line. Email and reminders still say Your event, or the public-safe name. Those notes are not the directory title.

The card is omitted when the party is private, when an admin took it off the public list, when it is a test party, when the night is already revealed, closed, or sent a no-reveal message, or when the start time has passed. Invite links still work on a public party.

Apply, then the host decides

Someone who finds the card can apply. The note they see is that the application was sent and the host will approve or decline. A second try says they already applied. Someone already on the list is told that. A full party says it is full.

The host sees a Verified badge when the applicant has one. A selfie is not required to apply. The profile does need a name and gender first. Approving emails that they are on the guest list and includes the party link. Declining says the host declined this application.

The street still waits on the address release. After the night is revealed, or after a no-reveal message, the Private and Public buttons are locked. An admin can take a public party off the list. The host then sees that an admin took this party off the public list.

The listing does not change the night

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. A directory card does not show who said yes. A one-sided yes stays hidden.

A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no. Public or private, the street stays off the card.
