Pineapple Play Date

Adult only. Private by design.

What verified means

A dressed couple in a living room at night, one phone with a dark screen, a warm lamp.

Verified is a live selfie on your profile. It is not a background check.

The short answer

Verified means you took a live selfie in the app. The prompt says Take a live selfie on Pineapple Play Date to get Verified. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The badge is not an invite, and it is not a match.

Open the front camera and take a clear photo of your face. It stays on Pineapple Play Date with your other photos, and your profile is marked Verified right away. No one has to approve it. After that, the profile says You're Verified.

Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.

Delete the selfie and the badge goes

The badge is attached to that selfie. Delete the selfie and Verified goes away. The confirm line is Remove your verified selfie? Your Verified badge will be removed.

On a couple, both people verified shows Verified. One person verified shows that person's name and verified. A single guest who is verified shows Verified. If neither person has the selfie, there is no badge.

Nobody on the staff approves the photo. The app does not run a background check. The host still decides who is on the list, and still checks people in at the door.

The badge is not a yes

A Verified badge does not say yes for you, and it does not show someone else's no. A one-sided yes stays hidden. You still answer for the people on your cards.

The selfie stays with your other photos inside the app. Do not ask someone to send a face photo in the group chat so you can check them. That is not what this badge is for.

If you do not want the badge, do not take the selfie. The night still runs. The host still invited the list.

The badge does not pick the night

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. Verified does not change a key party, a play party, or a speed date.

A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
