Pineapple Play Date

Adult only. Private by design.

What a return code is for

A dressed couple at a kitchen table at night, one phone face down, a warm lamp.

The return code gets you back into the same invite. It does not check you in.

The short answer

A return code is how you open the same invite on a new phone. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The code belongs to the person who already joined that link.

On your profile it says Return code, if you switch phones. On the sign-in screen it says a return code still works if you switch phones. You still open the invite link. Then you enter the code.

Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.

What discreet means on a party invite

Open the same invite first

On the invite, the screen says Already joined on another phone? Enter your return code. Type the code and press Enter. The app signs that guest back in. A code that does not belong to this invite is refused. The message is That return code does not match this invite.

The code is eight characters. Keep it with you, not in the group chat. It does not add a friend, and it does not move you onto a different party.

If you lost the code, Message host. That note is private. The host can see who is on the list. Do not ask the room to look it up for you.

It is not the check-in code

The check-in code and the QR pass are for the door. You show those to the host. Guests cannot check themselves in. The return code never does that job.

Signing back in does not release the street. The host still releases the address when they mean to. A place name can show earlier.

Do not forward the return code. Anyone who has the invite link and your code can open your seat on that invite.

The code does not pick the night

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. A return code does not change a key party into a play party, or a play party into a speed date.

A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no. A one-sided yes stays hidden.

FAQ

Does the return code check me in?

No. It signs you back into the invite on a new phone. The host or a co-host still checks people in with the check-in code or the QR pass.

Can I use it without the invite link?

No. Open the same invite, then enter the return code. A code from a different party does not match this invite.

Is this the same as the door code?

No. The check-in code is the pass you show at the door. The return code is only for switching phones.

Can I text the code to my partner?

Each person has their own code. Do not put it in the group chat. A private no stays private, and the code is not a way to see one.

When do matches show?

All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format. A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
