Texting after a lifestyle party

A text the next day can be one plain line. It does not recap the night, it does not add people to a thread, and it does not turn a private party into a standing plan.
The short answer
If you want to say anything, send one short note to the couple you actually talked with. Thank them, or say you were glad to meet them. Stop there. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. Adult only. Private by design.
Do not write what happened in the room. Do not name other guests. Do not send a photo. The phone stays in a pocket or a basket for a reason, and the next morning is not the time to undo that.
You do not owe a text. Silence the next day is a complete choice. So is a single line. A thread is not.
What a plain note looks like
Glad we met you. Thanks for the conversation. Hope you got home all right. Any one of those is enough. You do not add a wink, a recap, or a question that asks them to perform last night again.
Send it to the couple, not to one partner in secret. If you only have one number, say so to your own partner before you use it. A side thread is how a small night becomes a mess.
Do not text from the car if you are still deciding how you feel. Talk to each other first. The other couple can wait until morning.
What to leave out
Leave out the address, the door code, the host's name if they did not offer it, and anyone who was not in the conversation. The guest list is not your contact list.
Do not ask for the street you were not given, and do not ask them to introduce you to someone else from the room. That is the host's list. A one-sided yes stays hidden. You still do not get a map of who said no.
Do not move the chat into a group. Group chat is how a private night leaks. One thread with one couple, or nothing.
If you want to see them again
Say that to your partner before you say it to them. Same room or separate, soft or full, another party or coffee in public: agree the shape first. A party is one night. A second plan is a new decision.
If the next time is another party, the host still invites. You do not forward the old link. You do not promise them a seat the host has not offered. All mutual-yes matches are revealed for the format that host picks, on that night, not by a text the week before.
If they do not reply, stop. One note is a courtesy. Two notes without an answer is a pursuit. Let it be a single evening.
What the host should not do
Do not send a blast the next morning that names who matched or who left early. A thank-you to the whole list can be one line with no story. Or you can send nothing.
Do not pass out numbers. If two couples want to trade them, they can do that themselves, in the room, where both pairs can hear it. You are not the switchboard.
Keep the street off the follow-up. They already came over, or they did not. The address does not belong in a next-day text either.
FAQ
Should we text the other couple the next day?
Only if you want to, and only one plain line. Glad we met you is enough. You do not owe a recap.
Can we text just one of them?
No. Write to the couple. A private thread with one partner is a different relationship than the party was.
What if they do not reply?
Stop. One note is finished. Do not follow it with a second ask.
Can the host send everyone's number after?
No. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. The list is not a directory. Couples who want to trade numbers can do that themselves.
Does a thank-you text mean we are dating them?
No. A party is one night. Another plan is a new decision you make with your partner first. All mutual-yes matches are revealed at the party, not in the text. Adult only. Private by design.
