What sitting a round out does

The couple skips the next round. The mark clears after that round is spun.
The short answer
Sit this round out is a key party button on party night. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. A finished couple can skip the next round. The host can mark them, and the guest can mark their own couple.
The guest button says Sit this round out, then Join the next round. The host button says Sit this round out, then Put them back in. Once the round is spun, the mark clears, so the next round asks again.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.
Who can use it
It is for party night, and only while the night is not over. The couple has to be finished and in the rounds. A couple that has not finished, or is already a no-show, is not in the rounds.
A guest who is in a group match does not see the button. The host can still mark that couple from the guest list. A play party does not use rounds, so it does not use this button. A speed date does not show it.
Sitting out is not the no-show override. A no-show leaves a couple out of the night. This button is one round, and they can come back.
What the skip leaves alone
It does not change a yes or a no. It does not check anyone out. It does not delete the couple. They are left out of that round. The round uses the other checked-in couples.
It does not announce the skip in the group chat. A private no stays private either way.
A night in Orlando can use the button. Atlanta can too. Those cities have their own pages. The mark still lives on that party.
A skip is not a match
All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. Sitting a round out does not create a yes. A one-sided yes stays hidden.
A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.
FAQ
Can they come back?
Yes. Join the next round, or Put them back in, clears it. After a round is spun, the mark clears on its own.
