What adding two minutes does
The button adds two minutes to this round only.
The short answer
Add 2 minutes is a button during the current speed date round. Your host invites friends. The host invites friends they'd love to have there. One private link per couple. The note says this round gets two more minutes.
If the round is paused, those two minutes are added to the time that is waiting. The clock stays paused until you resume. If the round is running, the end of the round moves later by two minutes.
Adult only. Private by design. You confirm you are 18 or older. The host still checks you in. A private no stays private.
This round only
It does not change the date length saved for later rounds. A new party starts at five minutes, and that length can be set from 1 to 30. Add 2 minutes is only the round that is running.
It does not open yes or no, and it does not start the next round. If the round is not the current date, extra time is refused. The app says extra time is for the current date.
A key party does not show this button. A play party does not show it. It is on a speed date, including one linked to a key party.
What the extra minutes are not
This is not Pause. Pause holds the time that is left. Add 2 minutes adds time. You can add the minutes while the round is paused, and resume still starts from that new time.
This is not a new round. The same table stays. When the clock reaches zero, the round ends on its own. The extra minutes only push that moment later.
A co-host can press it from the dashboard. They still cannot delete the party or remove the original host. A night in Richmond can use the button. Salt Lake City can too. Those cities have their own pages. The length for later rounds still lives on the party.
Extra minutes are not a reveal
All mutual-yes matches are revealed by the format the host already chose. Adding minutes does not reveal them. A one-sided yes stays hidden.
A key party shows one Play Partner at the same time, after the host starts the reveal. A play party keeps matches hidden until the host reveals them. A speed date is short rounds, then yes or no.

Does it change later rounds?
No. Only this round gets two more minutes. The saved date length stays as it was.
What if the round is paused?
The two minutes are added to the time that is waiting. Resume starts from that new time.
Can I add time between rounds?
No. Extra time is for the current date. Between rounds, the button is not the control.
Does it open yes or no?
No. Yes or no opens when the round ends. The extra minutes only delay that end.
